Restrooms were clean and nice. Space was easy to find and large campsite provided. Neighbors were situated at a good distance.

This campground was great! On our first day there, a bison wandered near our campsite, and we got to observe it really close (while being in our car for safety). A great home base to explore Theodore Roosevelt NP.

Absolutely the best site ever. Beautiful views and very private. Buffalo came through the campground.

The campsites are spaced nicely, the restrooms were clean and the park is beautiful. We saw buffalo, wild horses, ground hogs, prong-horns and hear coyotes. We would definitely like to return. The town of Morane was friendly and quaint.

Very nice Natl Park campsite. I wanted to stay here years ago but it was full. We love dry camping with our 30 ft Winnebago and toad. Sites were level and easy in & out. And amazingly we had a decent phone signal with available Wifi every night. Had a Bison relaxing under a tree just feet from our campsite. The whole park was amazing and so was the site. Only 5 miles from town... so we spent some time almost everyday in Medora. In fact... we stayed at Medora Campground (with full hookups) and then 5 days dry camping in the Natl Park and then back to the Medora Campground for showers & full hookups again... It worked great for us. Dont miss the Medora Musical, I wasnt sure it would be worth it .. but it really was... we would see it again sometime. There was also an "Eagles Tribute" concert one evening but it was rained out. Otherwise Theodore Roosevelt NP is one of our favorite stops.

Although it was a campground, sites were situated far enough away from others that you felt like you had your own space. The sites were easy to navigate, the bathrooms were surprisingly nice, and the overall atmosphere of the campground was nice. The best part was that a bison walked right through our campsite! I would recommend staying here.

Campsites were well sized, convenient for back-in, pull-up. The facilities were clean and comfortable. Awesome to see bison
come right through the campground. Easy access to the river, beautiful views.
