Located five miles (8 km) from the entrance to the South Unit of the park, the campground is open year-round. We had friends who wanted to camp but didn't have reservations, like us. The camp hosts worked and changed our site so that we could have a buddy site with our friends. We feel the hosts went above and beyond and it contributed to a wonderful week! Thank you.

Beautiful park! Camp hosts and staff were very helpful. Easy to find and navigate to. Water fill and dump station were easily accessible. Site 47 was just big enough for our 27' fifth wheel and truck, kind of a narrow site, driver side slide out was very near the edge of the road and not much patio space on the door side of the camper. The picnic table and fire ring were a short downhill walk away. All in all a OK site with pretty good privacy. Short walk to the flush toilets.
