Camp host was amazing. Bathrooms were 12/10. Great site and a welcome committee of bison.

Great site along the Little Missouri. Enjoyed watching the wild horses and bison coming to the river to drink. Host, Jeff, was outstanding in his knowledge (a former national park's ranger) and willingness to help or advise.

Good campsites, good level of cleaning in bathrooms and quiet. Host was polite and knowledgeable. Great to have our national parks and campgrounds preserved and in public hands.

Despite squatters being in our site upon arrival, campground mgr found us a better site. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

I was on my way to visit friends in Boise Idaho. Having only seen the Park from the interstate, I was curious about the rest of it. I was pleasantly surprised. The presentation at the amphitheater was a bonus. Great experience.

My stay at Cottonwood Campground was great. The campground is quiet, clean and in a beautiful setting along the Little Missouri River. The camp host was so nice and friendly, even had treats for the dogs. It did get cold at night (in the 40s) and my dog and I were tent camping. It also got very hot during the day (late September). We did the scenic ride, very nice. Also did hiking but since I was with my dog we hiked outside of the park on the Maah Daah Hey Trail. It was very nice hiking. We hiked in the morning to avoid the heat.

We camped at Cottonwood in our 27' travel trailer, site 31. The site was more than adequate for our camper and mostly level. The restrooms were clean and well-kept. The volunteer staff was friendly, especially when our departure was delayed due to a power failure in our camper. We would definitely stay there again!
