Mellow Moose Campground

Nice campground. Beautiful trees. Its a work in progress. Matt was a great host. Made everything easy. Will stay again if in the area.

Young campground that's full of potential. Activities range from a mud run, hikes, and family fun activities. Bike trails across the road. Early spring visit wad wonderful. We had showers and working toilets at the main office. Porta potty for the winter. Owners are friendly and extremely helpful. We will be returning in the summer

Stayed in the north loop at campsite 8 with my 67' rig with 3 slide outs. Gorgeous, rustic, and next to the train tracks - which brought much fun for the kids! The north loop can be loud when trains come through but the south loop is much quieter. The campground was well appointed with trees everywhere, fire pits, picnic benches, and a great grill-out/party area. With year round shower/bathroom facilities, this place has everything you need for a great stay - whether middle of winter or summer! We will be back!

A great campground & great owners. Had a wonderful experience on a long term stay. Excellent accommodations, clean bath houses, shower houses, & wonderful amenities. A great trail system on site for hiking as well. Matt & his other half went above & beyond. Truly a magical experience & will be staying again.

first time coming for the state fair! it’s a good sized campground. very beautiful layout if you’re a tenter 😁 (real camping) one of my favorite things is that there is a train that goes right passed the campground. it’s loud but it’s so cool!! didn’t get to see the little friendly fox Todd, but i’ll have to come again to see! the tenters campground isn’t too big but it’s the perfect size for 2-3 people. the bathrooms are decent, the building that has the restrooms, at night they have purple lights, its so pretty. there’s a little trail behind the renters campground that’s neat. the staff are amazing and so welcoming. 10/10 would recommend.
