This was the first time I have been at Downstream and been disappointed. We have been going there for 10 years. We stayed for 9 days, and after the long weekend, the garbages were completely full and were not dumped until many days later. You couldn't even ride a bike by them without the stench following you for a while. In addition, not once were the grounds mowed or sprayed for mosquitoes. We love to have campfires but were unable to due to the mosquitoes. I really hate to see this campground not being kept up, as it is a staple for us. However, this year I can honestly say that it was very disappointing.

Cleanest bathrooms I have seen. The sites are spaced out. Watch out for mosiquitos though. They are everywhere

This is probably the nicest campground in North Dakota

We were harassed and very disappointed in how things were handled over the weekend. We’ve been camping at downstream for over 30 years and this has been the worst camping experience ever! The camp host definitely don’t allow you to have a good time. Not rowdy good time, I’m talking sitting around a fire and enjoying each other’s company after “quiet hours”. It was ridiculous!
