The Wolf Creek Campground is located along the southern shore of beautiful Lake Sakakawea. The recreation area offers a wide variety of recreational activities, including boating, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, sailing, scuba diving, bird watching, and hunting. Camped over Memorial Day Weekend, grass was long and had not been mowed, weeds were awful, and very unfortunate that there is yellow tape all over now. The spots were made much smaller than last year and the price per night went up. Use to be a great place to call but very sad about what it has become.

Bathroom was very clean. Don't care for site set ups, huge areas and only so many sites for group camping. So many areas roped off. We love wolf creek to meet family from all over ND but can't all park together anymore.

We love Wolf Creek. Big sites, most of which are right on the lake. If you don’t mind a few miles of gravel and generators for electric, it’s the best campground on Sakakawea within an hour or two of Bismarck.
