Nice stop along the way in our journeys. We hoped for better lake access, but the lake is so low that we could only get to it by a trail heading down the bank. We were spoiled by Cass Lake in Minnesota which is clear and sandy, where this lake is muddy and rocky. Still it was good to cool off.
The site was fine and the views are great. We arrived on a Sunday and the place was packed. But Monday we had the place to ourselves. We took advantage off the trash and dump and fill. Lack of electric was no issue as we are solar powered.
Also, the road in was very washboardy, but they graded it before we left and it was a huge improvement.

From Bismarck, ND: travel north on US-83/ND-1804 approximately 55 miles, turn left onto ND-200/6th St. NW and travel approximately 7.5 miles, turn right onto 37th Ave NW and travel 1 mile then turn right onto 7th St. NW travel 1 mile and turn left onto 36th Ave NW, travel approximately 2 miles and arrive at campground.
From Minot, ND: travel south on US-83 for approximately 50 miles, turn right onto 32nd Ave NW and travel for 1 mile, turn right onto 8th St NW and travel 4 miles, turn right onto 36th Ave NW and travel for 1 mile and arrive at campground.
Wolf Creek Campground is accessible via US-83, which is approximately 50 miles from Minot and 55 miles from Bismarck.
Elevation: 573 feet
6.4 mi drive to downtown Riverdale (about 12 min)

- OHV's, Golf Carts, ATV's are NOT allowed within Campground.
