What Guests Are Saying
Mill Creek Camping at Berlin Lake is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean and spacious campsites, and friendly atmosphere, making it a great place for outdoor enthusiasts and families. However, many reviews highlight the need for renovations in the bathhouses and improvements in site management to enhance the overall experience. While some visitors enjoyed the lively environment, others noted that noise levels, particularly from motorboats and generators, could detract from relaxation.

Wish they would patrol it like they use to. The rules aren't enforced anymore and it shows. Ppl camp were they want. 3-4 cars in campsite. Things hanging in trees. Loud music and ppl being disrespectful to other campers yelling and screaming all night. Was a great campground not so much now.

We have camped at Mill Creek since before the pandemic and we enjoy the rustic setting and boating on Berlin Lake. It would be great to have more electric sites in other loops. The internet is very poor in Hickory to the point of no service
It would be an improvement if parents could be more responsible for their children who are often off on their own and the screaming and yelling is ridiculous
The dumpsters could be better managed (lock function) to control raccoons as they are very aggressive and spread disease
Better oversight of the public boat launch consider a fee for boaters not camping
There is no organization there, establish lanes, add more floating docks

I will definitely stay here again. Why? First time I've seen fireflies in 20 years. Some areas of the park are quieter. Some areas with permanent residents that can be very loud. Huge property and very diverse camping types of spots. Marina is clean, smells good, great bathrooms, and beautiful scene with adult swing and picnic tables. Reasonable prices.
