Cops always driving around. We don't live in a world where that makes people feel safe, but rather instills fear of being harassed even if you're not doing anything wrong. If you're looking for trouble, you're gonna eventually find it. Also, quiet hours start too early. Should be 11 or 12. Loved my campsite tho, great view.

Absolutely LOVE the Army Corps parks. Well maintained, beautiful surroundings, and affordable. Updated plumbing, easy water access, and did I mention, cheap? Especially with a NPS pass!

Been going to this campground every year since I was born. Recently, the USACE began not monitoring visitors. This lead to random fishermen walking through our site to the water, placing large rocks around our boat that was tied up to the shoreline. The other issue was raccoons. They are completely out of control, I understand that this is part of nature, however the raccoons were coming in droves and trashing the campsite each night searching for food. Fortunately, we put all of our food in the cars, but that didn’t stop them from trashing everything, even as far as trying to enter our tent. This campground is beginning to be less and less enjoyable in the name of “preservation”.

Our first time camping here and we loved it. The site was very spacious, clean, and accommodating. It was very peaceful and all the neighbors around us were very pleasant and respectful. We felt safe with the patrolling of the ranger and the sheriff. The campground was very clean and taken care of. We had a very positive weekend. We found so much to do within close proximity to the camp White House Farm, T& J Auto Museum, Hartville Market and Hardware and Lake Milton to name a few places we visited. We loved the volunteers driving around with ice cream on Saturday, very nostalgic bringing back memories of the ice cream man driving through the neighborhoods growing up.;

Helpful info: expect to be practically interrogated to sign in. Took two office people to confirm the numbers in my senior discount card...felt like a military drill. The name on my card is the same as the reservation.

From I-76, take Exit 54 and go south 5.5 miles on State Route 534 to U.S. Route 224 in Berlin Center. Turn right (west) onto U.S. Route 224 and go about 2 miles to Bedell Road. Turn left (south) on Bedell Road and go about 3/4 of a mile to the campground.
Mill Creek Camping is accessible via Interstate 76, with Exit 54 leading to State Route 534, which connects to U.S. Route 224. The campground is located approximately 5.5 miles from the interstate exit.

3.7 mi drive to downtown Berlin Center (about 8 min)
Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
