Made reservation on short notice. Camping with the grandchildren meant an electric site would be the easiest. Found a site that we had not camped at before but the virtual picture helped us a lot with the specific camping details we were looking for. The cost was totally reasonable. It turned out to be an excellent site ... shady, not too close to other sites, close to a restroom, within walking distance to a beautiful shoreline and hiking trail, also could easily walk to a swimming inlet, playground, & bathhouse! We had a wonderful three day/2 night stay. Saw deer! Had hoped to fish but ran out of time leisurely playing games at the picnic table (very nice large, metal one), sitting around the campfire, fixing & eating the delicious traditional camping meals, swimming, skipping stones, & riding bikes! We are looking forward to our next camping trip at Mill Creek Campground & Berlin Lake! (We also enjoy boating on the lake throughout the summer!)

We camped in Hickory near the restroom. It was nice as always, just wish they would update the shower houses. Left a day early because of the storm heading our way.
