What Guests Are Saying
Mill Creek Camping at Berlin Lake is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean and spacious campsites, and friendly atmosphere, making it a great place for outdoor enthusiasts and families. However, many reviews highlight the need for renovations in the bathhouses and improvements in site management to enhance the overall experience. While some visitors enjoyed the lively environment, others noted that noise levels, particularly from motorboats and generators, could detract from relaxation.

My wife and I complained about other campers/visitors using our camping area as a public hang out. We rented a camping site expecting some peace, quit, and privacy. Our camp site was allowed to be used as a public beach area because the 20 yards between our camp site and the lake is open to the public, so our camping experience was ruined. I highly recommend renting a cabin somewhere else or camping where your campsite is guaranteed some privacy.

Our overall experience was excellent. The lot was great and the park was clean and well kept. For the most part it was also quiet, until our 2nd night and a group two lots down were talking loudly and carrying on, from 11:30 pm until 3:30 am. We had no idea who to call. The Ranger's and Sheriff normally drive through at night, but our two nights there we never saw them. The sheriff did arrive at 3:30 and spoke to one of the campers.

Wish they had walk in sites available. We are finding people reserve the best sites and just never show up. So frustrating.
The campground is beautiful and can have so much more potential. We camp here often when when have to stay close to home but want to get away.
Now you have to plan your visit months in advance. That part really sucks.
There are only a few spots open mid week, when all used to be open everyday. Makes camping during the week thru the weekend almost impossible. We miss the old way of coming to the campground to get a spot.
We don't mind reservations, just wish some spots were still available for walk ins.
