I just happened to discover Mill Creek by accident while researching places to camp in Ohio. I would recommend Mill Creek to anyone looking to take their family camping in fact I’m planning to go back with mine. I had a beautiful site located in the Alpine section. The bathroom and showers were very clean. There’s water surrounding the campground with Berlin Lake on one side and Mill Creek lake on the other so if water sports are what you’re looking for this is definitely the spot your family will love.

We go every year. Has place to swim, fish and boat dock. The main shower house is nice located centrally with smaller bathrooms located throughout for easy access. Theres a few playgrounds/slides. Bens restaurant is only a mile away with a nearby drive through too. Price is super cheap too! Reg site just $14/night and each has a picnic table and fire grill

Like I remember from growing up going to Mill Creek the sites were good and so was the price. I do miss the tree they cut down that we used to swing from a rope from but I can understand the risk concerns. The new post they put up that you cant place your tents and stuff beyond was a bit of a headache. They were way to close and gave little room to set up your site. Some sites are better than others, I would recommend checking them out first before deciding on a site for an extended stay. The bathrooms left something to be desired. Hard to flush toilets and minimal cleaning could use to be addressed. But hey, you are camping I guess....

well we had scheduled this spot At Maplewood 15 6mths prior to our date. We got there thursday night only to find another couple was at our site. They say they had never been camping here before and their ticket said A-15. They seemed to be in denial so we took a drive in the park and stopped at a camp host in Oak. they were helpful and the sheriff came .
all that to say we missed our beautiful sunset. By the time we set up it was dark. So My story goes on, like I said I reserved this campsite 6mths earlier and the next day things were going well then some people that had camp site not a water site kept walking thru our camp to get to their boat. Truly ruining our secluded spot. And it wasnt a few people , and I am talking right behind my chair walking thru. I finally got the nerve to say the they should go to their boat another way. But maybe a half hour later they were coming thru again, They said the other people wont let them go thru their campsite, Well I could have spoke with the camp host AGAIN about the continued disruption of our time but I felt they have heard enough from us from the first nite, So we think campers should be clear that if they dont have a water site that they cant walk thru yours. Or needs to be access paths

Been coming to Mill Creek Camp Grounds for years, "Love this place very much"...
But.... have noticed a lot of different things This season. There was No Rangers at the station or driving around at night to enforce the quite time at 10pm.
Showers\ Restrooms weren't as clean as usual.
Grass in the front entrance definitely needs cut, looks really bad with all the tall grass, That's the first thing one notices as soon as you pull in.... Looks messy and unkept
Please take care of our park!!!!
Other than those few things I had mentioned,
It's definitely A Beautiful place..... ♡
