What Guests Are Saying
Mill Creek Camping at Berlin Lake is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean and spacious campsites, and friendly atmosphere, making it a great place for outdoor enthusiasts and families. However, many reviews highlight the need for renovations in the bathhouses and improvements in site management to enhance the overall experience. While some visitors enjoyed the lively environment, others noted that noise levels, particularly from motorboats and generators, could detract from relaxation.

Campsites are clean and well maintained. There are a lot of beaches accessible from campsites. I have been coming here annually for over 40 years!

I booked a campsite(oak 004) for an entire weekend to ensure it’s availability. We arrived on Saturday morning to be told firstly we had no reservation. Once I provided confirmation emails from recreation.gov AND statement from my bank that I did in fact pay for the campsite already, I was told that my campsite was double booked and there was someone already camping on it, checking Into my site the night before(that I had already paid for). I was given another campsite and assured it was just as nice and secluded. This campsite had no trees. I was given a campsite literally in a 1/2 acre field, with RV’s on either side; the opposite of secluded. Both RVs ran their generators for the entirety of the camp trip, with one neighbor watching Netflix on his outdoor television.
To top of the story, when we biked past our original campsite, there was no one there. It had clearly not been used the night before, and wasn’t set up on for the entire weekend.
We had already set up our tent and cooking area, or else I would have moved.
This is the closest and most convenient place for our family to camp, but over the last few years, this or something similar has happened multiple times. I don’t know if they just can’t get it together or if they truly just don’t care about the patrons. If there was anywhere else worth camping closer to home, I would never return, but unfortunately that’s not the case, so I guess I’ll keep coming back to the heartache that is Mill Creek Camping’s incompetency.

I’ve been coming to Millcreek since I was a child. It hasn’t changed much at all and I love that.
I only rate it good because of the loud neighbors I’ve had the last two trips I’ve had. It went on until 2:30am. Loud and obnoxious. They were obviously drinking.

We have been camping at Mill Creek for several years and enjoy Berlin Lake. We wish the camping season was longer here. It’s unfortunate that the water level of the lake is low early August and we can’t risk taking our boat out. The staff at the park office are great! We have deer walk through our campsite and cardinals visiting the feeder. Thank you Mill Creek!
