What Guests Are Saying
Mill Creek Camping at Berlin Lake is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean and spacious campsites, and friendly atmosphere, making it a great place for outdoor enthusiasts and families. However, many reviews highlight the need for renovations in the bathhouses and improvements in site management to enhance the overall experience. While some visitors enjoyed the lively environment, others noted that noise levels, particularly from motorboats and generators, could detract from relaxation.

We tent camped in Oak Area, site 83. We had a gorgeous view of the lake and loved how the site was built up a bit and very flat! Also enjoyed how our site was a bit secluded. You could see your neighbor, but weren't right on top of them. I was disappointed to see the lake front access was more of a small cliff down the the lake, rather than just walk in. We arrived later than expected so didn't have time to swim any way, but know this site does not have good water access, just an amazing view. Site and campground were very clean and bathroom was well taken care of and nicely lit at night. Booth attendant was very friend and super helpful giving directions to our site because this a big campground. We only stayed one night and would probably stay here again, but since it was the night before 4th of July, many campers were loud and didn't really follow quiet hours. Would definitely recommend this campground.

You would think that having an online reservation system, and knowing it would be one of the busiest camping weekends of the year (July 4th weekend), the grass would be mowed (or at least less than 6" long). You walk out of your tent in the morning and your feet are soaked from the morning dew surrounding your sandals. There are plenty of written citations to go around for everything from mowing your own grass (because of their negligence), to tying your boat off to a rock on shore ( but they won't move the rocks, tires, or cable spools that peak the water surface), to leaving your hygiene basket in the bathroom for all to use due to the poor quality and maintenance of the restrooms/shower facility (which has no ventilation, not even an exhaust fan), to sitting on the boat/jet ski for the short trip from the boat parking/prep to the ramp. I can't imagine of all the campground hosts (who camp for free), not one of them are capable of installing new towel hangers in the showers, adding a push-button faucet to the sinks, or regular cleanup of bug carcasses from the restroom facilities. But no, instead, of helping make sure the campground's basic amenities are up to par enough to convince your wife that camping is not such a burdensome event, they patrol 3-4 times an hour to make sure there's nothing fishy going on, and provide enough citations to fund such an event.
The best thing that ever happened to this place was when the septic line broke, and they had to order in portable facilities to support the year's camping crowd. It was the one thing that made you look at the grass curling over your feet and think, "Man, this is really worth the the stress of camping".

Nice place to camp with just your spouse or family. Many parks throughout for the kids, a dog park for your fur babies. Nice places to sit and enjoy the many views of the lake. Had a wonderful time, already booked another weekend!

We had a wonderful time. Our campsite was large and close to the lake. We went kayaking on a quiet no wake zone on the lake, it was very relaxing and pleasant long weekend.
