Wren Eagle Retreat

Rented this place for a few years in a row for Ohio's deer gun season got double booked one time and then they booked it knowing we do this every year so I found a better place with great hosts that understands and are organized. My recommendation is look for somewhere else to stay. And I got four other guys that will tell you the samething

We had wonderful stay at Wren Eagle. The setting in the woods was beautiful, the wrap around porch was so inviting with plenty of table space and comfortable seating. The house itself was very clean and perfect for our group. The owner has carefully thought out the possible needs guests might have and made them available. We have been staying in B & Bs every fall for many years, and we all voted this the best. A wonderful place to visit for our fall trip. Very thorough directions were given to us about everything. Though we looked at the things to do before leaving and did a walk around to be sure we had not missed anything, we did forget, after loading the cars, to close the porch gate, a safety protection from animals etc. getting on the porch. We tried so hard to take care of everything before we left, and apologize for being remiss on that item.

House was nice and very secluded. Had a full kitchen and grill for cooking at home. The surrounding neighbors are a bit odd. Property felt secure but don’t go during the hot days of summer because you cannot turn the air down below 75 and even if you ask the temp will not be turned down, but other then that it was a solid experience.

Nice secluded location. Quiet. Furnished nicely. Beautiful deck and places to sit. Inside has beautiful fireplace. Inside needs a few repairs to drywall.

This was a very nice place up in the hills of Ohio. Very private, had a gate that we could close behind us. A well-kept hello with good Wi-Fi, and a library. I actually left a couple of books there and I have not asked to get them shipped to me. I'm thinking that could be my contribution to the already good Library they have.
