Lake Cody

Great family campground. Small lake with a swimming area, path around lake for walking or golf cart rides, activities on the weekends. Fishing also an option. Most campsites are seasonal, however there is a nice variety of short term/come and go sites. The family that runs the campground is on site, and very helpful. Close enough to stores and shops if you forget anything, but just out enough to feel "away". A great camping choice!

Campground itself is beautiful! One particular owner not so much. ): the wife was rude and made myself and family uncomfortable, to say the least. Which is too bad because this was our first camping trip with our son. There were four small incidents (always involving her) over the course of our stay. So we will not be coming back. Too bad because this is a beautiful campground! But I will not give our hard earn money to disrespectful, rude, cold people, who are suppose to be in the customer service industry.

Was okay.., The husband was wonderful! Helped us back into a small spot with limited vehicle room to turn great!, the wife wasn’t as friendly.
As a weekender, we felt like an outcast since the permanent folks weren’t very open to us.
Scenery was beautiful! Water felt wonderful but the kids were screamed at by the lifeguard 3 different times trying to do what the permanent kids and her grandkids were doing. Probably won’t be back.

I love this Campground! It is a quiet,peaceful place to stay. There are many full timers here, but they are very nice and keep their sites nice. The grounds are well kept. I would love to stay here again if I am in the area

We stayed here overnight, they have mostly long term guests many in old neglected rigs. There are 5 pull thru spots for transients which are wonderful, long enough that we didn't have to unhook, wide space between and perfectly level, full hook ups with city water. There's a lake and beach and stuff for kids to do if you need that, lots of kids and even a basket ball team. Over-all a great place easy access off hwy 30. Owners super friendly and welcoming.
