We rented kayaks and stand up paddle boards from Bayview Bait and Tackle for a half day. The rates were reasonable and better than other rentals. The equipment including life vests was clean and in good condition. Very easy launch. Staff were friendly and helpful. We saw many herons, as well as, ducks, geese, turtles, a bald eagle, and a kingfisher. It was a great morning on the lake.

We rented a pontoon boat for a half day. It started out great and then we had some complications with our first boat. We called and the customer service was great. They told us to come on back up and we could switch boats! We than later were having such a great time we wanted to add a full day and they were awesome at helping us with that as well! The only thing I can say is both of the boats radios didnt work:/ But overall, it was a great day!

We rented a pontoon online for next day. Friday morning. When we arrived at 9 for our 4 hour rental, the gentleman at the check in desk was very friendly and helpful. We were supposed to arrive 20 minutes early, which we did not. We waited for at least 30 minutes for other staff to arrive to allow the gentleman to take us to the boat. Eventually he put a closed sign on the door and locked it. No one had arrived yet. By the time we walked the STEEP hill to the boat dock carrying our cooler, fishing poles etc. it was close to 9:45. When we finally got on the water and underway, we were shocked to see the fuel gauge was on EMPTY. Concerning because gas was to be included in the rental. I immediately called the number listed apparently staff had arrived, and was told the tank was full- - we had an enjoyable time fishing and riding on the lake. There was a small issue with the motor seeming to “stall” when we got a bit of speed going. It seemed like it was. Flooding out feeling when we backed off in the throttle, it was okay. The pontoon was NOT NEW by any means, but it was adequate for our family of 3 adults and 3 under 11. There was some obvious wear, but we were not concerned with having a bougey party barge.
When I initiated the online rental there were several warnings to not be late checking back in with fees if we would be late. I would have appreciated the gentleman allowing us to return later to make up for the time lost waiting for staffing issues. We were staying at the state park campground and after pricing other rentals, the rental fees here were what was attractive to us.
We got what we paid for, I wish we had gotten the full 4 hours on the water.

My family & I were a bit disappointed. It wasn't at all like we thought it would be. I'm not sure if it really counts as a campground. More like bunkhouses. The cabins were ran down in general except for 2 or 3 of them. There was a dilapidated old garage with the doors falling off, glass all over the ground & various boats & equipment parked onsite. An old rusted swing set was onsite with no swings. The inside of the cabin was nice & clean but the shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold & the faucet was about to fall off the wall. We had 4 towels for 8 people. You had to drive to the beach which is about 14 miles from the cabin & no activities for the kids. The boat ride was enjoyable but the boat needs some attention. The panel didn't work & the doors were secured with twine in place of missing hinges. We made the most of our weekend but would not recommend.

I love this place. Last time we went there was a problem, and they were overbooked. But they made it right for the same price we stayed at blueberry Hill. They made a mistake this time too. But they gave us free pizza dinner. Normally everything goes just as it's supposed to, always clean, and always friendly. In the past 3 years, they've only made mistakes twice. They always make it right with the customer.
