Deerassic Park Family Campground

We stayed for 6 nights and found the campground to be very clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and Deerassic offers a fun day for the kids. Note, the water and power a bit of a reach; expect to need 40-75 ft of cord/hose depending on where each is located on your camper. It’s also a close drive to salt fork if you wanted to hike or swim. We would stay again.

Nice place overall and nice place to hookup for campers. Note the electric hookup is a big stretch. And if you're tent camping, be prepared to do your business outside (without the cover of the woods). The bathhouse is locked from around midnight til 10am when the store opens up. Also, Deerasic Park next door (campers recieve tickets included with their stay) is fun for the little ones and educational. But they are only open from Thursday to Saturday. Only 10am to 4pm on Saturday. That includes Memorial Day weekend, no extended hours. Cute set up and the bathhouse is awesome when it's open. But be aware of their limited operating hours. I really don't understand the need to lock the bathhouse while there are campers on-site, but maybe they know something I don't.

Very accommodating when I accidentally booked the wrong weekend. Clean, friendly, quiet, and fun for the kids!

I’ve stayed for multiple nights 3 times over the past two years and enjoy their growth. Comfortable setup. Be prepared for a long reach for power and water. New shower house is top notch. Currently adding more full hookups. Store is fully stocked with everything you need. Will definitely return.

Great stay over Labor Day. Nice sites, all with water and electric, some full hook up too. New campground, so very few trees, but should be nice in the future. Easy access and check in. Quiet overall, a bit of road noise, but not bad. Pet friendly! Just across road from Salt Fork, so close to marina and beach.
