I was a visitor to friends camping there. I stopped at the office for directions to their camper, was greeted by Madison who gave off the impression that I was bothering her asking for directions. Like I was bothering her by being there and wanting directions. Very rude and unfriendly. The campground was in desperate need of a sprucing up, looked very run down in the common areas. I feel for the people who have campers there and take pride in maintaining their area in a pleasant and welcoming manner. If only the common areas were as nice. I was going to ask about renting a space for my camper but decided not to because of the unwelcoming surroundings and staff. Save your money and look elsewhere for your camping enjoyment, this is not the place.

My wife and I are seasonal campers and absolutely love our weekend getaways here. Our grandchildren have a blast — they can’t get enough of the Aqua Glide and enjoy cruising around on the golf carts. There are always fun activities for kids during the day and creative events that bring campers together, making it easy to meet new people and feel part of a community.
Yes, prices have gone up a bit over the years, but honestly, what hasn’t? I still feel the rates are fair and comparable to other parks. Whether you’re looking for a quick weekend escape or a full summer of camping, this is a great place to relax, unwind, and make memories.

Flee! Escape from this location! We had been seasonal campers for five years. The last two years were filled with nothing but stress, disappointment, poor management, and owners who grant the General Manager complete authority and refuse to listen to or return complaint calls. This past year, we sold EVERYTHING two months into the camping season and incurred a loss. WE WERE FINISHED! The General Manager spoiled the experience for us. The rules do not apply uniformly, and the General Manager selectively enforces them, having the power to issue a 72-hour notice to vacate at any moment. Our lot suffered damage twice due to storms, yet we received no communication from management. Our shed was broken into, and there was no follow-up from the General Manager regarding that incident. It is important to note that we are retired. There was no partying, no drunkenness on our lot, and no loud music. We did not cause any issues. We kept to ourselves. We received no warnings. All we desired was a place to escape the city and a venue for our families to gather. Unfortunately, we could not even achieve that as it cost $20 per person for day access.

We rented one of their bunk house campers already on a site. We only stayed for two nights. The campers are very nice inside except for all the spiders we had to get rid of when we arrived. That's not what you want to be doing at 8 pm on a Friday. I expected that they just put bedding on the day of or day before and there shouldn't be spiders in doorways or windows especially near beds. Saturday evening when I went to use the stove I found out there is no cooking utensils. There's a few pots and a frying pan or two but nothing to use to cook with unless you use regular silverware. They have a regular coffee pot but it needs filters and it should be advertised on the site. It should not say just bring your clothes and food, especially needing more items to cook with. I can assume people probably take things or ruin them however a checklist when they set up for someone should be included.
I do love how clean the campground is and the activities they have scheduled on the weekend. I do feels it's not an overly friendly campground based on the seasonal campers we interacted with, but still mostly nice people. The vendors and those in charge of the planned activities were all very nice. The food truck has really good food. Definitely a beautiful place to be in the fall.

My husband and I spent 3 nights in a deluxe cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and stocked with the kitchen and bathroom items needed. It would be quite tight with more than 4 people. The porch and picnic table had beautiful views of the lake. We would definitely stay there again.
