Nice little campground when we want to just get away for the night. Overall clean. Shower/restrooms are pretty good.

We had an overall great time at Leith Run, but I do have to say the Camp host was a little much!! My parents had a site across from us and my dad was pulling their camper and my mom drove behind him in her Jeep. Since she was behind him she parked there on the black top to get out to help him back the camper in the spot. Then obviously she was going to move her Jeep off the road in their parking space. Well no more than she got out of her Jeep to help my dad here come the Camp host telling her she couldn’t park there real rude like…well obviously we knew this and all she was doing was helping park the camper. They explained what they were doing and he backed off. My husband and I had lot 2 and my parents had lot 3 which is a handicap spot and I ended up parking my van in their lot because there wasn’t room for two vehicles at our lot and for heaven sake I guess my two back tires were to much on the grass in the back of the lot and he came over to rudely tell us we needed to move it because it’s $50 a tire fine that’s on the grass. Which wasn’t even grass they were on dirt!!! The weekend we went we were celebrating my sons 1st birthday and all we wanted to do was have a nice weekend! We did for the most part, but the camp host needs to give people a chance obviously we wasn’t going to leave the Jeep in the road and any other campground it’s okay to park in the grass so we didn’t know it wasn’t allowed! I’m all for following rules and I get that’s his job as camp host, BUT give people a chance and also don’t be so rude! I’ve NEVER come across a camp host so rude and actually I’ve heard multiple complaints about this guy!!! I’ve been to Barkcamp, Dillon, salt fork and never had the issues I had at my FIRST trip to Leith Run!!

I had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The park and campgrounds are well kept and it's a quiet place to camp. There are several historic cities close by. I will go there again.
