We were there during the big storm that damaged much of the park. The gentleman from the forest service who came to cut a way out of the park was fantastic. He definitely went above and beyond to make a way out of the park. The fire departments that responded were also great. Two deputies also ran through the pouring rain to assist us. The storm did so much damage, but the response by everyone was amazing and so very much appreciated.

Nice shaded camp spots, we had a pull through (4). Site was paved and held water due to all the rain, but that is to be expected. Cell service was spotty but starlink was running good. We stay at least once a year, nice trails, great views of river traffic.

Campsite #5 is a great spot unless there is a heavy rain. The pavement is sloped toward the back of the site, and we got a lot of mud and water pooling around our camper door. Luckily I had my water hose with me and was able to get the mud off of the rug. We probably won't use this site anymore unless there is no chance of rain.

Hidden gem! Situation on the Ohio River, this campground is well maintained and a nice, quiet spot to stop for the night. Definitely would stay here again.

Campground was fantastic for those who like watching the river and towboats go by.
Local hiking trails were a bit overgrown, had some bigger trees down, and not marked very well.

Leith run was a perfect campground for a place to wind down and relax. Clean nothing crazy going and quiet. Visited the castle in Marietta and took a ride on a river boat. Would visit again.
