My family and I bought our first camper this year and found Country Acres. Its super close to home but far enough away that we feel like it's a little vacation. We have enjoyed our time there now after 3 long weekend visits plus a during the week visit just since the end of June. Always something for the kids to do. The pool is really nice( my kid never wants to get out). The staff is great. For my pull behind camper the full hookups are perfect. I'm a person that finds a favorite food somewhere and never eats anything else. So this place will probably be my go-to from here on out. Thanks

Booked a trip for our family of 4 to get a few days away before the holiday weekend. Unfortunately for us, most of the kid activities were down and we had to go off property. The splash pad was off, the jump pillow and bounce houses were deflated. The slide and playground equipment went needing fixes.
It would have been nice to know all of this in advance of checking in. It might not have changed our plans but it would definitely let us plan better.
The cabin was a park model trailer. It was in good shape. You really have to bring everything except plates and bowls. We didn't even have 4 forks.
Deluxe: Sleeps 6 Lakefront Cabin — Vaulted Ceilings & Private Deck Over the Water DLX doesn't actually go OVER the water but you are right there at the lake and that was nice.
We would consider going back, but would want to know everything was up and running ahead of time.

Another great weekend at Country Acres Campground! The place just keeps getting better every time we visit. I really appreciate how they continue to add new things and improve the overall experience. The activities for my kids were excellent, and they had an absolute blast. We can't wait to come back for the July 4th weekend!

Another successful weekend at Country Acres! I can’t say enough about this place. It’s our second year camping here as weekenders and I see nothing but improvements every time we go.
If you have kids, I promise they will love this place! We’ve camped a lot over the years with children ranging from 3-17 and this is definitely one of our favorites.
Staff is always very friendly. Grounds are well kept. Campsites are roomy. Tons of activities.
Ignore the negative reviews and book the trip. I promise it’s well worth it.

I debated leaving a review. Only because up until Sunday it seemed like an okay place to get away and unwind. Unfortunately I was ready to go home by late Sunday night. I will say that the feel of this place is very country club like. Not like a camp grounds that is friendly to outsiders who aren’t paying for a spot yearly. Which is unfortunate because I had debated inquiring about a spot here. The manager was rude to my children literally over nothing and a scene was made which I didn’t think was necessary. I guarantee if it was a long time clique member it would have been just fine. You can tell who gets special treatment here and who they couldn’t care less about. It’s not the newcomers I can promise you that. The camp grounds aren’t that nice to waste your money or time here. General store is way over priced and so is concession stand. $4.50 for one little scoop in a cone is crazy work! Accommodations aren’t that nice either or comfortable. This place could use a lot of work starting with their snotty attitudes! People spend a lot of money to be treated poorly here. That’s a shame! I definitely would not recommend a stay here. They should worry about their dirty, nasty pond and the swan in it that attacks guests and that’s just for starters. I’ve heard management has changed a few times now I can’t imagine why! They have a lot to learn and do. Family friendly is an understatement. Hopefully learn to do better!
