What Guests Are Saying
Cedarlane RV Resort on Catawba Island, Ohio, offers a very clean and well-maintained environment with friendly staff and a fun atmosphere, making it a positive seasonal camping experience. The adult pool, live entertainment, and convenient location enhance the stay, and communication with management is prompt. Some minor drawbacks include gravel roads, limited site sizes, and inconsistent Wi-Fi, but these did not detract significantly from the overall enjoyment.

This was our first year as seasonal campers at Cedarlane RV Resort on Catawba Island in Ohio. Overall, we had a great experience and have renewed our spot for the 2026 season. Here are some of things I really liked about the campgrounds:
-Very clean and the landscaping is well maintained. *Restrooms included.
-The separate/adult pool was a big draw for us; it is also very well maintained.
-Loved getting a scoop of ice cream at the camp store and watching live entertainment on the weekends.
-There are lots of big/mature trees that give it a homey feel and they provide shade on hot summer days.
-It has a fun atmosphere and everyone (staff and campers) are super friendly. We lucked out with awesome neighbors!
-Austin's response time to my emails was very good. He was happy to answer all my questions when we first got set up with a spot.
-It's in a great location; didn't have to go far to enjoy all the things there are to do on Catawba Island and the surrounding area.
-I feel the cost for a seasonal site is reasonable and fair.
My only wish is that the roads were paved as opposed to gravel, but I can imagine this is a huge expense. Hoping the owners are saving up for that.
Also, wish that our site had sewer service, but that wasn't a deal breaker for us. The campgrounds offers a pump out service for a reasonable fee which came in handy.
Wifi doesn't work great (or really at all) when the campgrounds is at max capacity, but that is to be expected at any campgrounds.
I saw that someone commented on the site sizes being too small...I think that's relative. Would we like our site to be larger? Of course. But we understand that the owners need to economize on the space and, for us, our site size worked just fine.
Again, overall, had a great experience! Kudos to the management team! Can't wait to come back next year!

Nice park with friendly staff and good amenities. Sites are average size with lots of seasonal campers. Only downside was being charged $6 per person for one evening BBQ with few friends — something I’ve “never seen at other RV resorts and we have traveled all. Over the country for many years

Decent place to stay. Sites are WAY to close. Comparable to most KOAs. Pool is nice to have. Did not like you can't have golf carts, but employees drive them everywhere. It's not a bad place. It is very convenient for a day trip to Put-in-bay. We probably will find another resort close by that allows golf carts and has a little more room for each site next time.

Nice campground. Well maintained. The pools are nice. Small area inside where you can buy alcohol and sandwiches and ice cream.
Bathrooms are okay. They do have continuous hot water and good pressure. The campground was quiet.Fair prices. No hidden fees.
The site we originally were supposed to have wasn't quite ready yet I don't think. The septic drain was way too high and capped off. And there was a large amount of rocks in the parking area. But they were able to move us to a different spot that was very nice.

This place was great. We stayed for a week in our RV. They have an adult pool and kid pool which was really cool. We were in the adult pool but the kids pool looked awesome! The store had great stuff in it including something RV things. We ended up buying a hose splitter and some other things. They also have alcohol available in the camp store :) That was an unexpected plus! The staff was super friendly and the camp sites were all under tree coverage. Dog park was a good size. Long enough for my pup to run in. Overall great experience and I would definitely recommend.
