I’d love to give 5 stars because the campground itself is wonderful, and fun for kids, however there are some permanent residents that unfortunately are quite rowdy and have a foul mouth on loud karaoke machines, and honestly it makes it not so enjoyable. I wouldn’t go if you have kids or want quiet while camping for this reason.

This campground is tailored for their seasonal camper. They have an upfront area just for weekends. The lots to rent for daily use are tough to get into with a pull behind camper. No room to park ur vehicle. There is no full hook up sites. The only good amenities is that the dirty pond where u swim has giant floating things to do. I was not impressed by this so called resort.

We rented campers, sites 252 and 254 for one night. Positives are the ease of check in, secureness of the grounds, the clean and convenient camp store/office, friendliness of staff, and the awesome inflatable obstacle course on the pond.
Some negatives were the campers in general... they could have DEFINITELY been cleaned better; I felt like they just did a "once over" and thought it looked okay and moved on. No sweeping really and the couch looked pretty gross (in 252). Also, when you arrive they do not have the air on (at all) so it was extremely hot all day and up until we were finally ready for bed. I feel as though they should maybe turn it on and have it set at 75-ish, if they are trying to save on electric but still being hospitable to guests. Just so it's not unbearable. Site 252's air conditioner had some intense dust build-up that you could see when you looked up at it and it smelled mildew-y, causing everything in the camper to stink and we all left with coughs afterwards. Site 254 was not near as bad as site 252.
Those were my only complaints. If you plan to drive your own camper/RV in and/or rent the house on the grounds, you probably will have better luck than we did with the campers.

First year here and so far it's great. Been a bit rainy so haven't been able to enjoy it too much. Looking forward to a good season! The staff is for sure one of the best amenities!
