I stayed at this RV “resort” for about six months, from winter into spring of 2025. When the previous general manager was there, it was truly a joy to stay. The staff was accommodating, the atmosphere was welcoming, and we exclusively chose this location anytime we came to town.
Unfortunately, after she left, things quickly went downhill.
There was a serious standing water issue throughout the campground that was never properly addressed. Anytime it rained or snow melted, large areas would flood and turn into what looked like ponds. When temperatures dropped, that water would freeze, creating dangerous ice patches. I slipped several times due to the water and ice around my camper. On many occasions, I had to walk through three or more inches of standing water just to enter my RV, tracking it inside every time.
I also had to repair my own city water hookup multiple times because management did not keep essential parts in stock. It’s hard to understand how an RV “resort” would not maintain basic inventory for systems critical to their guests’ stay.
Some (not all) staff members were rude and unprofessional. There were instances where staff would enter campers after hours without proper notice. Additionally, certain employees would openly drink after clocking out and then create issues with other guests. It often felt like there were cliques formed between staff and select customers, and if you weren’t part of that inner circle, your experience suffered.
Rules were inconsistently enforced. I was told not to park my golf cart on the grass, yet I frequently saw others doing the same without consequence. I even documented it with photos and brought it to management’s attention, but nothing changed. At one point, I was called at work and told to leave immediately to move my golf cart off the grass, which felt excessive and unfair.
The campground also added new restrictions frequently, including no drinking at the pool and early closures of the pool, hot tub, and even the community fire pits at 10 p.m. While I understand reasonable quiet hours, closing fellowship areas so early felt unnecessary. The hot tub, in particular, was rarely functional—when it did work, it only lasted a few days before breaking again.
Overall, the campground was poorly managed and under-maintained. While it markets itself as a “resort,” it felt more like a standard campground without the amenities or upkeep one would expect from a resort designation.
I left in July and do not plan to return.

* dont let the 4.3 stars fool you ! They have a ton of bots and fake post on here ! Please read other sites they have not loaded with fake reviews! I had the opportunity to be a seasonal guest at this campground during the summer of 2025. Initially, the staff was friendly and responsive, which made for a great start. However, after making payment, it became clear that they were looking for ways to generate additional revenue. This sometimes manifested as unexpected fines or charges for things like dog waste, tents, or extra guests. One of the most concerning issues was the practice of overselling certain types of sites and then placing weekend guests on the seasonal side without upgrading them. It seemed that their primary focus was on profit rather than providing a quality experience for guests. As a seasonal guest, I was required to undergo a background check, which I paid for myself, but it seemed that this policy wasn't consistently enforced. The condition of our site was also a letdown, with weeds, rocks, and holes instead of grass. I took the initiative to seed the area myself, but it would have been nice if the park had taken care of this. Furthermore, we were charged for cable TV and internet services that didn't work, and management seemed uninterested in resolving the issue. The park's communication with seasonal guests and weekenders was often limited to requests for payment or complaints about minor infractions. Meanwhile, employees seemed to be held to a different standard. I hope that in the future, the park will prioritize guest experience and work to address these issues. By doing so, they can create a more positive and enjoyable environment for everyone.

First time staying at a campground as a family and we were impressed. The facilities were clean, the site was spacious and the location is unbeatable for all the activities in the area. The Halloween activities they had for the kids were an added bonus that really made the trip. We would definitely stay again!

Had a great weekend in early October, the sites and amenities were clean as always and we really appreciated the pool still being open and heated. Live music and a BBQ truck at the pool on Saturday was a plus! Great service and everything is so clean.

Great place for RVs. Weather was great for this time of year. However the last day we were here the heater in the pool had been turned off and the hot tub was cold. I had been told that the pool was open until Oct. 31. Our site was level and we didn't feel crowded. Sites are a nice size. It was quiet and traffic was light. It was good to have an enclosed dog park but it could have been a little bigger so larger dogs could run. I would love to come back next year.
