Just a one night stop but it was enjoyable. The property is on a hill so some of the sites are not level. We used two blocks on one side of our van so it’s not too troublesome. There is some road and train noise though. The bathrooms are spotless!

This was the perfect location for a short stay (2 nights). We loved the camp ground we had a level site, loved the trees, it was clean and quite. One draw back could be the train but we really didn't notice it as it does not blow the horn so you can barely hear it as it runs by. Really close to downtown Sandusky which we loved visiting. We would stay here again.

I have been a guest at this RV park for over four years, and the recent discovery of black mold in the rear bath houses is both alarming and entirely preventable. These facilities have no proper ventilation; the only airflow comes from side windows and a small 120V portable blower. Under such conditions, mold growth was not a result of human error, but an inevitable consequence of poor design and inadequate infrastructure.

The owner’s failure to address these environmental realities demonstrates systemic neglect. In any RV park, humidity, water exposure, and natural wear are expected — yet solutions like full bathhouse renovations, upgraded irrigation, and proper ventilation systems have not been implemented. Relying on “maintenance” alone, or multiple maintenance systems that cannot compensate for structural deficiencies, is clearly insufficient.

Blaming anyone for this would be disingenuous. The responsibility lies squarely with the park owner’s lack of foresight and investment in safety. Until these bathhouses are renovated and preventive measures are taken, this park cannot be recommended to anyone prioritizing hygiene, health, and long-term reliability.

I urge owners to act before long-term residual damage occurs to guests, as they are purposefully exposing everyone inside the park to conditions that are entirely within their control to fix.

We were on a 17 day, 17 state cross country RV trip and this was our favorite campground of 14 that we stayed at over this trip. This was our last night on the road before returning to suburban Philadelphia. It seemed like a good stop off I-90 in Ohio. There were many people in the park, some I believe were longer term guests.
We really enjoyed this campground. Clean showers, pool, game room (we won a 12 ft stuffed snake), and camp store.
This is a close location to Cedar Point.
We booked the same day (though, I imagine during peak season, you may want to plan in advance). Rates were reasonable and staff were friendly.
Also- side note- Sandusky is reportedly the birth place of Thomas Edison (there's a museum nearby).
Definitely a reasonably priced stay for pull through hookups for your RV.

We have been seasonal for 3 years the place is awesome John and Kim are owners and phenomenal. Then there's John and April they are the maintenance and work in the office they will help and are great. The place is fun clean and a great place. The post from Daniel is 100 false he camped next to me for 1 day did nothing but complain. There is no dust from across the street and the trains are calming. He also forgot to mention they ripped the power lines out and just left. Please give this campground a chance you will love it. Great owners great workers and a great place. Thank you to all the staff
