Sunset Lake Campground

Very nice quiet park. We had a view of the beautiful lake. Everyone was so nice. Management was amazing,. One of my favorites now and I will return.

Not friendly at all, pool thing is gross, no firewood most of the summer, Store has very little to offer. Lots of wild cats, so that's fun. Left mid season without refund with no regrets.

Whoever said this place or people were great and friendly were out of their minds! This was the worst campground I have ever been too and me boyfriend and family have been to quite a few. The staff was very rude and disrespectful. We tried placing our RV there for the season for a get away from home kinda thing and paid alot of money and after we were there for a few weeks it began.all the "your coming and going too much."you can't have friends come over the weekend." Even after we told them about it in advance and said we would pay the rate of whatever it would b if they stayed at their own site." Who doesn't go camping with friends? Just a couple I'm saying. Not a party.lol maintenance man was yelling at me so bad he was spitting on me and once I finally had enough and yelled Back I didn't want his saliva on me he did a 180 degree turn and began to be nice. Weird. I do not recommend this campground. It was so ridiculous that we paid for the season already thousands and turned around and packed up And left with everything and didn't even bother trying to get some of our money back because it would have been more headache and drama. Told em to keep it! Awful place. Do not go here! Maybe it was a scam. I don't know but wasn't sticking around to find out.

This is a very beautiful and very quiet park. If you're looking for a nice, quiet place with lots of shade and some beautiful water to enjoy time with your family, then this is a great campground for you.

My boyfriend and I started coming here when we were in high school. About 8 years later it is still our favorite place to tent camp! The land itself is very well kept, bathrooms and showers are cleaned daily and the lake is fully stocked! The owners are very kind and always very helpful if needed. Most campers here are seasonal RV's which actually makes for a very peaceful time tent camping with hardly anyone directly next to you. We definitely recommend Sunset Lakes to anyone looking for a clean, quiet and reasonably priced campground.
