Willow Lake Park

This is a hidden misunderstood location.
Many have written it poorly, i want to change that here with this post. Yes there are full time residents in this location,they are located on the outter edges of the camp ground, all are clean,very pleasant persons.
The campground gravel sites are some what level, used our levelers too.
Electric and water at sites,dump on way out. Large grassy areas, a swim lake and a separate fishing lake located here, group area, picnic areas, pool tables in game room,showers and public restrooms.
Dumpsters for trash, plenty of room for walking,playing,riding bikes.
I didnt give a 5 star here because for 5 stars it needs sewer at sites and dog park. It's a really quite plenty of room wonderful location..

Almost didn't want to camp here because of the low star rating. Gave it a chance anyways and my family and I absolutely loved it. There's room for improvement some shower hooks in the bathroom. Making sure toilet paper and soap is restocked more often. We didn't enjoy all the smoking under the gazebo area but other than those it was wonderful. I caught roughly a 19" bass and over 30 bluegill. It was awesome. Park was great swimming area was great. Absolutely recommend.

One of the best stops we made while on the road. The Receptionist, and staff were awesome. They escorted us to our site and briefed us on the amenities available at the park. Great for families to spend a day or a week. Definitely a place we will revisit. Go to show that you can't always look at the amount of stars the reviews give it.

The owners have taken this park from well below our standards to a park that we got a permanent spot at. They continue bringing an old park back to life. I'm looking forward to another season here, the live bands, the new playground, the fishing pond, and the swimming area that has a tint of blue.
