Great park large concrete pads, very clean, excellent view of the lake
Only draw back no trees. We were there for about six days in extreme heat. Early morning fishing midday we spent inside in the air conditioning. Wonderful location for early spring and fall. We plan on returning very soon.

We enjoyed camping by the dock. There is no shade but there are covered picnic tables at each site. It will be a few years before the young trees provide trees in this area. For shade, stay at the B section. Roman Nose State Park is not far and a nice day trip. Hiking below the dam is available. The Mexican restaurant in Canton on the side street was very good with generous helpings. The local proprietors are very friendly and helpful.

Canton lake is always a great place to camp! A few stickers in the grass but otherwise great.
