This is a very nice park, newer, with level pads, picnic tables, and great views of the lake. The showers and bathrooms are clean and nice. However, this would’ve been a five star rating if not for all the stickers in the grass. There are so many stickers that it is impossible to walk your dog without the dog getting stickers in his or her feet. There are so many stickers by the water hydrant and electrical hook ups my socks and shoes were covered with them. By the end of the weekend my fingers were very sore from picking stickers out of everything. The government has got to do something about the stickers or this park will be unusable.

The sandburs were terrible and there needs to be a LOT of tree trimming and removal. Most of the volunteers don’t do crap. There are really a lot of trees that need attention. I scraped my Rv up

Our spot was in Loop B. Loop A was better cared for. The site as sufficient and fairly close to the lake. However, they obviously have not had any volunteers there to pick up trash. It was a self check in and you were to have made your reservation online. Might stay again, but in Loop A. I hate to give fair to bad reviews for COE parks as I love them so.
