Camp hosts were very efficient and accommodating and campgrounds were beautiful and well-kept. The only thing that could’ve made our experience better was a cover above the picnic table in our campsite. Some campsites have covers some do not

Great sites and well maintained. One of my favorites to be sure. The only thing I would ask is better management of the Goat Head sticker weeds. I get the natural habitat and all, but it’s impossible to walk in the grass for me or my dog without getting covered in these things.

The park was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The spot was level and the patio area was very nice to have. The boat ramp was right at the end of the campground from us and took seconds to get to. There are prairie dogs and their mounds everywhere at the park though. Watch where you step when you are walking the dogs on the grass. Other than that, I will be back to this beautiful campground.
