What Guests Are Saying
Canadian Campground is highly praised for its beautiful layout, spacious sites, and well-maintained facilities. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, scenic views of Lake Canton, and helpful staff. However, some guests have reported issues with sand burrs and occasional noise on busy weekends, but overall, many express a desire to return.

First time staying here. I think we had the perfect spot. We had a great view of the lake out our front door. The concrete pads were nice to park on. Also the covered table was nice because much of the day was shaded. Only issue we had was the invasion of red ants. We were lucky enough to have neighbors that had ant killer. The cafe just south of the dam was had good breakfast. Overall a good place for us.

No information on if they were open, because of shutdown. Tried calling, no one answered. Since reservation was cheaper than fuel, to drive out there, I drove to State Park. I had good experience there, by the way.

The lake is nice and the camp grounds are nice. Only problem is there is no lake patrol and rangers are rarely seen. Campers park anywhere they want, sometimes in the road or in other peoples camping area. We've had several things stolen from our campsite during the night because gates are open 24/7 so anyone can come in.
