Nice campground. Lake is good fishing. Bugs not an issue. Nice swimming beach.

Can't help the weather, but neighbors were extremely loud. Several campers asked them to turn it down and all they did was shout and tell people to bug off (put it nicely). Finally had to get the Camp Host involved and she had the rangers come by several times to have them turn it down. Finally ended up leaving early.
We have stayed here before and always enjoyed ourselves, just not this time.

From Canton, OK: Go .5 miles west on Highway 51, turn right (north) on Highway 58A and travel 2.3 miles. Turn right at the 3-way Stop intersection and continue on Highway 58A to the north end of the dam. The swimming area and campground are on the left.
Sandy Cove is accessible via Highway 51 and Highway 58A. Highway 51 is the nearest major road, located approximately 0.5 miles from the campground.
