I usually park in the area with electric and water only, but this time I parked in the Full hook up, site number 41. I was only there a few hours and all my electricity cut out. I thought it was my breakers, but they were fine and I went out to the post and found the post had fried my surge protector. The protector was flashing with the red light alarm. I could hardly pull it out of the pole because it was stuck from burning. This was an expensive surge protector that is ruined, but I’m so grateful that my MOTORHOME was not affected due to the surge protector doing its job. I ended up leaving during the night as not to use my generator for AC.

Very clean and beautiful campgrounds close to the shore!, Fishing pier is a rare and nice bonus to be able to utilize day or night. Best fishing I've had from shore catching hybrid strippers off spoon lures. Park felt secure with game warden presence and I liked that the gate closes at 10pm until 6am to keep things extra secure. Only thing I didn't enjoy is the shower/toilet facilities, wish these were updated to match the rest of the park improvements.

The park is clean and safe. Park rangers patrol regularly and the staff is diligent at keeping trash picked up. The views are amazing. The dock is well maintained. The sites are mowed regularly. The park is family and pet friendly. It is one of my favorites.
