The camp site it not even close to being level. I had to back up on 5 2X6's with the trailer and the truck just to get the trailer close to level and then the steps were way to high to easily get in the trailer. Beach was litered with trash and broken glass.

The gentleman at the check in booth was super! So friendly and helpful. this was our 3rd year there for a family reunion. Looking forward to next year!!

Its a nice campground. But no campsites with good lake access. If it's a holiday weekend lots of traffic on main road. And lots of loud music.

My family has been camping at West burns run since I was a little girl. I live in San Antonio now, but this lake and camp sites are so much better then the ones we have here. Everyone is very friendly, nice sites, clean and wonderful price.

Overall was a good experience. Great location relative to lake/beach access. About 500 ft from bathrooms. There is not much shade at D42 and was mostly sunny in the afternoon. Fire ants were really bad this year. I would go again to this area, but will seek out a different lot to reserve.

Make sure you bring extra water hose. Water Hydrants are not close to the RV pads

Every year we have a gathering of loved ones at Burns Run West. It's beautiful there and we never have any problems. The lady at the gate is a real Sweetie. Party on! See you next year!
