A beautiful park for an overnight stop. Not as quiet as we'd like, but to be expected on a weekend near large cities.

Grass was over a foot tall and full chiggers, was trash left on site from previous campers, bathrooms we very unsanitary

Excellent Camping Park. Clear clean water in the lake and Very Nice sandy beaches. Only about an hour and a half from Dallas.

Been coming here for years, whether it be camping or just day use. I want to give it a bad rating so no one else takes the spot I like, but I can't. The place is beautiful, uncrowded and close to the bathroom! I have not had an RV here, but have seen the spots and am thinking I need to buy an RV! Out of all the camps I've been to, I keep coming back to this one. First as a fun place with friends and now a place to bring my grandkids. One bad thing that can't be helped is ants. Bring some spray and spray it around the table area. We like the tent campsites where you pretty much have your own private beach. My grandson has Autism and to see how he feels so free while we are here, is just awesome. Still have to watch him, though! lol Couldn't recommend another campsite than this one.
