What Guests Are Saying
Belle Starr Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a top choice for campers. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful lake views, and spacious pull-through sites, with ample wildlife to observe. Some concerns include limited restroom availability during off-peak months and the presence of stickers in the area, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

Our neighbors had 60+ people, over 20 cars, destroyed both our water hoses, and had 3 aggressive giant dogs that kept trying to attack my kids!!!!

The area is nice but the pads need a lot of help. We had to park our trailer with one set of tires off the pad because the asphalt has eroded away. Water hydrants are too far away.

East loop needs some serious attention. It's the best loop with beaches right at most sites, and it has the worst pads. E9 is the best table area with solid concrete but the camper pad is like the others and falling apart. At E11 and with most on East loop, it's difficult to park and be able to put supports down on flat ground. The asphalt is broken. I also fell by our table and luckily my head missed the old rock that is left from past pads around the tables. New pads for the campers or repair should be priority and the areas around the tables as well. It would be great to see new, plastic coated tables, fire pits, and BBQs, but fixed pads would be great!

I have been coming to Eufaula since I was a kid (5 yrs) with my parents, when my dad passed in ‘95 mom sold their property close to Belle Starr so this place holds tons of good memories for me. Now I am sharing it with my daughter and granddaughter. The East side has the best beaches for our boat and swimming. Most of the campsites has easy excess to the water. The boat ramp was closed this weekend due to maintenance but there was one available at the marina close by. This trip we actually went to the town of Eufaula on Saturday and visited the local shops on Main Street, highly recommend it if your not too busy boating n fishing.

Take this with the grain of salt becuase the lake was over flood stage and 1/2 of the park was under construction and 1 bathroom in our E loop was being remodeled so we had to use the main bathhouse. With that in mind, even still, the main bathhouse was dismal. Fairly clean, but No Soap. No paper towels. Needs paint. Basically run down.
