I love the accessibility of Belle Star, easy parking, proximity to the water. My only complaint is the burs so if you have pets, do not let them get into the grassy areas. Learn to potty on the asphalt!

I was very pleased with that visit BUT your website says that central loop is open throughout November. I tried to reserve a site again and system would not allow it./ Very, Very frustrating.

Nice park with plenty of space, large patio with picnic table. The only negative is the Oklahoma sticker weed seems to be everywhere so no barefooting and your dog will get it in their feet and fur.

Let me start by saying I’ll keep coming to Belle Starr because I’ve loved camping in this park since it was built, however conditions could be better. Just had a dead limb fall on my boat. They have rehabbed some campsites that greatly need the work which is appreciated, yet other maintenance items need to be addressed, including tree trimming, picking up construction debris etc. that would greatly improve the appeal of the park. I have called the Lake Eufaula project office to voice my concerns, and I know they as everyone else have budget restraints, but things could definitely be better taken care of at Belle Starr.

From Eufaula, Oklahoma, take Highway 69N to the OK-150 exit toward Texanna Road/State Park/Lake Eufaula.Turn right onto E1140 Rd/Texanna Rd. Travel east for 2 miles, turn right onto Belle Starr Rd/Northsouth 420, travel south for 2 miles and you will arrive at Belle Starr Campground.
The campground is accessible via US Highway 69, which is approximately 10 miles to the west.

General
- October-March there are no gate attendants on duty, a volunteer will make rounds and check in/out campers. If you need assistance please call the Eufaula Project Office 918-799-5843
- Gates open at 6AM and close at 10PM. Camping is permitted in designated campsites only. Each campsite is limited to 1 wheeled camping unit with up to 3 tents. Camping is limited to 14 consecutive days within any 30 day period. Campers must occupy the campsite at least once during each 24 hour period. Each campsite may not have its own water spigot, some share with adjacent sites consequently you may need extra hose to reach, we apologize for the inconvenience. Campers shall keep their sites free of trash and litter during the period of occupancy and shall remove all personal equipment and clean their sites upon departure. Fires must be contained within the fire ring or grill provided. These are NOT trash receptacles, please leave them free of food and litter upon departure. Bathrooms are closed and winterized from November 1st - March 31st.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
