What Guests Are Saying
Belle Starr Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a top choice for campers. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful lake views, and spacious pull-through sites, with ample wildlife to observe. Some concerns include limited restroom availability during off-peak months and the presence of stickers in the area, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

I misunderstood how to use the electrical for my RV (I'm a newbee) and the park staff were helpful and friendly.

There was no water hook up for
E 07. It only had a 30amp electric service and I have two air conditioners. Running only one in that temperature it would quite working. I needed a 50amp service.
Because the weekenders reserve them all in December and January there are no 50amp services available. I don’t know that far ahead what I will be doing or if my health will let me go. It makes it hard on retired folks. When you had several first come first serve sites we could get a spot after the weekenders went home.
PLEASE reopen those 50amp service
sites to first come first serve sites.

Lovely park. We were in a lakeside rv spot, views are beautiful. Did have a bunch of giant black wasps but they never stung, just hovered in the grassy areas. Lots of birds, a local identified the state bird for us. Beach near camping was a bit crowded on weekend but plenty of room to swim. Husband played golf at Arrowhead.

The park was very nice. The bathrooms and shower areas were OK, but showing some signs of age and wear and tear. Our site was excellent, EXCEPT for the fact that it was next to the ramp for parking for the beach area. If we had known we would have chosen another site.

Camp ground was well kept and check in was fast and easy. The camp spot that I had did not have any lighting at all and the water hook up and electricity hook up were at the opposite ends of the camp spot. I sound critical but I would definitely stay there again
