What Guests Are Saying
Belle Starr Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a top choice for campers. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful lake views, and spacious pull-through sites, with ample wildlife to observe. Some concerns include limited restroom availability during off-peak months and the presence of stickers in the area, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

Boat dock has bare metal not covered did damage to my boat when we tried to tie up to the dock.
Please have all metal surfaces on the dock covered so as not to do damage to boats.

Things were great, but noticed a lot of empty spaces I believe it had to do with no more first come- first serve sites

Bathrooms on east side are in pretty bad shape. Most of the campsites on the east side have a lot of the blacktop on the trailer pads washed away. But other than that, nice place to camp.

A really great park. We were on a long, pull-through with 50amp/water with a great view of the lake. The security was a plus as we have been to many COE parks with no control of visitors, or traffic, coming and going. Quiet and dark the way we like it.

Great gate host and the campground was excellent. Quiet, clean, and sites were perfect.

The camp sites were beautiful and clean. The pavilion we rented for my dad's Jennifer'memorial was perfect and the electricity worked. The only way it could be better would be if the sites had sewer hook hip ups.

We used to camp here years ago when our children were growing up. It is still a wonderful place to camp!
