Pecan Grove RV Resort

Getting There: The turn to W Almar Drive from 277 has a pretty nasty dip. We have a 33' trailer with a bike rack that scraped pretty bad. I would suggest detouring to get onto W Almar Drive from S 9th St instead. Other than that it is easily accessible and easy to find.

Customer Service/Checking In: I'll admit, I was a little nervous since this is the first campground where they had no digital footprint i.e. I had to call for a reservation and didn't get any confirmation emails or texts. But everything went well. We got an escort to our site. To fill propane, you just leave your tanks at the end of your site and they take care of it. Very pleasant and professional!

Level: Level, no blocks needed

Electric/Water/Sewer: Everything worked great

Noise Level: It is very quiet and peaceful

Interior Roads: Wide, paved, and easy to navigate

Pet Experience: There are plenty of grassy areas to walk dogs. There is a good sized fenced area as well. The only thing missing was pet waste stations, but I don't see that as a big deal.

Overall Pros: It is very clean and quiet. It seems to be mostly filled with permanent residents, but it doesn't have that 'trailer park' feel. Everyone's sites are kept clean and not cluttered. The price is very affordable for how nice the park is. I don't know why, but I loved that each spot had a separate designated parking spot too.

Overall Cons: I really don't have anything negative to report about Pecan Grove. I guess the biggest con of our entire stay is that the roads in Chickasha are pretty rough, and aside from the World's Largest Leg Lamp and super nice people, there isn't much to do.

Would I return: Yes

Great park. Really large sites that are very neat and clean. Getting off the main road to the park is very steep and my trailer dragged the stabilizers. Going out was even worse. It's not the parks fault though. Really nice place.

The excellent management at this park makes it a great place to park your rig. We had a truck repair needed as we rolled in, not knowing how long the repair would take, they told us not to worry about extending our reservation and offered help any way they could. Kindness goes a long way. Kudos!

Pecan Grove is a great place with very friendly staff. Grounds were clean and spacious. Very modern and well maintained restrooms with clean laundry facilities. Very close to downtown with local shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay there again when we're in the area. 👍

Great location, staff very helpful too. Filled propane. Pull through, very clean. Only drawback was heard highway or road traffic at night, but not a show stopper. Would stay again for sure, great pricing and offered me military discount. Use next entrance for entering and leaving if you’re worried about dragging as road off Main road is quite steep. Diner in town is a 10/10 too
