What Guests Are Saying
Spencer Creek is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, clean and well-maintained campgrounds, and friendly hosts, making it a great spot for camping. While there are some concerns about electrical issues and bathroom cleanliness, the overall experience is positive, with many campers appreciating the large, shaded sites and the beautiful surroundings. Some minor improvements, such as better restroom access and trimming low-hanging limbs, could enhance the experience further.

Volunteer at the gate was superb. Incredibly friendly and helpful. He seemed as if he was expecting us. Gave us great directions so let us write to our camping spot. Our spot would've been right on the water if the reservoir was at Highwater, but this late in the water level was down so we were essentially camped next to a draw. The site was level and easy to access. Were in good shape. The bathroom was clean and stocked. The park itself actually looks like a park. The entire area is incredible and well worth the stop.

Was a wonderful camping trip only complaint was the camp site next to us had a loud generator late at night and a light shining at our tent made it kind of hard to enjoy the peace but the rest of the trip was decent

The electric hookup box was at the front of the site. Luckily I had an extension cord and barely reached the box. Also no water on site on the site we were at. Site 7 in believe. Had to use my 150’ of hose and 50’ of Mother in laws hose to reach nearest shared faucet. Park was quiet and well maintained.

The area is very clean and relaxing. Entering in the people at the gate were very welcoming and nice. Wish both bathrooms were alike. The bathroom up by the camp host is nice and has ac and a shower vs the other one. The area overall is very nice and I feel secure knowing the lock the gates at night. Definitely will come back!

This is great camp ground. It’s rather isolated which means quiet, lots of tress and close to the water.
