Potato Hills South

My favorite place to watch the sunset. It's always clean and peaceful. I have been staying there the last 14 Labor days . Highly recommend if you haven't stayed there you should.

Area was not mowed and grown up for kids to play, trash was on the grounds and the trash cans were full, we were unable to reach anyone to assist us. Very disappointed. We had a Birthday party a few years ago and it was a great experience. I had invited friends and family from all over and it was embarrassing the state of the grounds.

Needs cleaning. Had to wash out spider webs, mud dober nest. Wasp nests etc. Serving services were mostly rotten. An area for 75 people had one small trash can. I had to blow out , wash and cleans grills before use

Pavilion B met the needs of our church to have worship service and baptism. Perfect spot with shade and cool breeze off the lake.

We use Pavilion A @ Potato Hill South annually for annual church gatherings. It is clean & well kept. It is an excellent space for family reunions, church, or business gatherings in an outdoor natural setting. The sunsets over Lake Sardis are amazing, and there is plenty of room for games, & other activities. You will enjoy this beautiful area!

Same as it ever was. I like the campground. Few folks, good wildlife, peace and quiet. Just enough amenities to be a cut above dispersed camping on BLM land.

Beautiful campgrounds for relaxing and fishing.

This is my "go-to" spot for camping in the fall. It's not a glitzy RV campground, so that's a plus. I'm typically one of 2-3 campsites being used each time I've been here. Good spots (3# is the best) and fishing is not bad from shore. I much prefer this type of camping over the sites at Potato Hills Central, too many folks up there.

Very quiet. Nice level spot right on the lake. Would stay again.

Had our ladies monthly cook out at the site. Late evening, it was okay, but there was graffiti on the chimney and the electricity did not work.
