What Guests Are Saying
Potato Hills Central is a well-maintained campground with spacious sites, beautiful views, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for camping and outdoor activities. Guests appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendliness of the camp host, Jordan, enhancing their overall experience. While some restrooms could use improvement and the lake poses navigation challenges, the campground's natural beauty and tranquility make it a favorite destination for many.

The park was great. My wife and I took the Horses and stayed at site D 94. Stalls are great. soft sand in all of them. had the park to our selves.

Overall good, restrooms could be a bit cleaner (no soap or disinfect, toilet paper).

The campground was very quiet and overall a great campground. The official camp season hasn’t started so some of the grounds were closed- but we walked in to see all of the grounds. The sites are very well spaced. The bathhouse was okay- everything worked and it was stocked. It had rained so the equestrian trails were quite wet but we walked them anyway. I enjoyed the trail from central to south campgrounds the most.

We spent one night at site 80. It was right behind the men's side of the restroom. This was a very quiet place in middle November. The sunset looking through the trees and over the water was lovely. This would be a shady spot in the summer. We arrived about 5 pm, but checkin time was officially 6 pm. In the winter, you would be checking in well after dark. We didn't hook into electricity or water. The asphalt pad was not level (tilted to the back). The light did not come on in the men's shower. With the light from our flashlight we couldn't tell how clean the shower was so we opted not to use it. There was a potato chip wrapper in one of the men's shower stalls. The women's restroom area looked clean.
