What Guests Are Saying
Potato Hills Central is a well-maintained campground with spacious sites, beautiful views, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for camping and outdoor activities. Guests appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendliness of the camp host, Jordan, enhancing their overall experience. While some restrooms could use improvement and the lake poses navigation challenges, the campground's natural beauty and tranquility make it a favorite destination for many.

THE WOMENS SHOWER WAS FILTHY, THE MENS SHOWER DID NOT HAVE ANY LIGHTS. I NEVER SAW ANYONE AT THE GATE AND NO ONE EVER CAME BY TO GIVE US TAGS FOR OUR VEHICLES.

Very nice campsites. They are very well maintained, and restrooms are kept clean! We have been camping for 25yrs and Jordan, the camp host is the very best that we have met in all the years of camping. We hope he stays at Potato Hill Central.

The lake is tretrous you need to mark submerged islands, I have ruined two props ,you are running in 30ft of water and suddenly you run into a island a foot below the water, it's not that hard to mark these islands.

I was late a day, but the site was clean, with a great view and close to friends. Restrooms were a bit iffy, but overall it was a good trip.

The lake is dangerous, you can be cruising along in 30ft of water and suddenly be stuck on a submerged island, less than a 1ft under water. These areas need to be marked before someone gets killed, I have destroyed two props on these submerged islands, it wouldn't be that hard to mark these areas.

The campground was clean and had all the necessities for camping in comfort. Nice trees for shade and a great trail with educational signage made the visit even better. Camp host was friendly and attentive. There was no one at the beach even though the weather was ideal for swimming.
We will certainly visit again.

While camping at Sardis Lake, I would recommend visiting the Choctaw Capital. It's around 5 miles from the campground. Also, go take a hike on one of their trails and enjoy the outdoors.
