Very secluded site perfect for watching the sun rise and set. Cool campground with a bunch of hills and foliage that separate the various parts.

The space rented was not adequate for a 30' trailer, should of been 20'. The turns are way too tight for trailers. Had to have a hose run across our camp ground, since our neighbors did not have water. Maps and pictures were totally wrong of campsites.

This was such a nice place! Camp areas were clean and the views were priceless! We were lucky there was hardly anyone else, , there is a lot of room between campsites we were at a pull-Through spot that was facing the lake a wonderful spot #27 and short walk to shower/ toilet. The fire rings are big and they have a flip down grate so you can cook on them, we had the best ribeyes ever! I can’t say enough wonderful things about the camp host ( husband and wife) they were the best we have had to date. They made frequent rounds to make sure everybody was OK and didn’t have any questions or problems , they made a early evening run every night to hand out firewood to each campsite for the fire rings, and they were the most pleasant couple we have come across so far... We would highly recommend this place and will be returning for another visit

The camp hosts were very helpful and directed us to our spot in person. Our site was on top of a hill and had amazing views of the water and easy access to the shore.

This was the perfect place for me to spend the night while on the road. The campground has a variety of sites, from in the trees to a hill top overlooking the lake. The bath house in the main loop consists of a single toilet/shower stall behind the same door (one for women and another for men). That isn't a complaint... just make note that if the campground is busy, you might have to wait to use the toilet if someone is taking a shower. And only one shower at a time. There is also another vault toilet up on the hill. It is reasonably clean.
IMPORTANT NOTE: It is necessary to make reservations at recreation.gov. There is no option to drive up and get a site without going through recreation.gov. And my phone signal was dicey (AT&T), so it was difficult to do so once I got there. I had never encountered a campground with sites available where I couldn't rent the site once I got there. However, the hosts were fabulous about helping me out, and at least recreation.gov did not charge the usual reservation fee!
