Highway is a little noisy where we camped but overall a great place.

Had excellent site. Host was friendly and helpful. Restrooms were clean. Few campers due to being early March. Fishing was not good for me and my friend but others caught.

I booked the site online to get down there and find out there wasn’t any electricity. Tried all week to cancel the reservation to get money back and the website wouldn’t let me cancel. Called in and they were no help.

Nice, quiet park when we were there though the locals do like to ride down to the boat landing. Decent cellular/internet signal. Grounds were kept as nice as could be with the local Canadian Goose population.

Had a great time camping here over Thanksgiving 2020.
The sites were all picked up and clean.
I didn't use the showers or restrooms so I can't comment on those.
Many of the sites are backwards, meaning the picnic table is on the other side of the camper door.
Many of the sites also share the water spigot, They have a tee.
Bring extra water hoses as many of the sites are further than a standard water hose 25ft will reach.
All sites have a fire pit as well as a standard campground grill.
Lots of shoreline so you can fish off the bank.
Wonderful sand swim beach.
There are a couple of convenience stores close by, there's a bar at the top of the hill ( You have to figure out what hill) Boat ramps are in abundance and many are close by within a few miles of each other.

The arrangement of the water and electric were weird. The electric was by pad, but water was across campsite sort of near picnic table. Our 20 foot water hose was too short. We had to go buy a second hose (40 ft). All but 1 campsite was arranged this way.

Clean quiet. Wish there was a fenced dog area.

When making the reservation, it states on the website that this location had electric and that campfires were allowed. It states that there is a fire ring. When we tried to turn in the electric, we were informed by the grounds keeper that there is no electric to the site. Looked for a fire ring to go ahead and just build a fire for light, there wasn’t one. Check in time says 6pm. We arrived at 545. Had a little over an hour of daylight to have a gathering. We had to use my son’s light bar on his truck to finish the evening and do clean up. Not a good experience.
I did contact the Eufaula office and was issued a refund. The gentleman that helped me, was very nice, apologetic and understanding.
We have camped at highway 9 landing with no problems. We really enjoy the area. The groundskeepers have always been very friendly and helpful. We will be going back for camping, but will most likely find somewhere else to have our family get togethers. No electricity was a major problem for us.
