It’s a nice camp ground but the grass is always overgrown.

Grass was not mowed and the trash dumpster had not been emptied. They were piled up so high that trash was piled up on the ground around them.

Continued to not be impressed by this park. Trash service is absent, trash flowing everywhere. Grass rarely cut and out of control. Not the park it used to be. Trees need trimmed on the drive paths and the campsites. Nothing like backing in and having to climb up on your camper and trim trees yourself. Not sure what the camp fees go toward, because the skin of this park is rough. Convenience is the only reason I continue to stay here. I stay at parks all over the country and this is the worst one to date.

The gate workers and the grounds keeper were amazing. The company that services the trash and grass are not so good, the grass was knee high at our camper and the trash was over flowing in the dumpsters during the week of Juky 4th.

We have been to chicken creek multiple times and have never seen the park so unkept. The grass had not been mowed in some time and was extremely high and the dumpsters were overflowing. We arrived 2days prior to a holiday and expected to see it all cleaned as usual. We had talked to several people who said it had been like that all week. By the time the grounds crew came to mow, almost all spots were occupied and they could not mow close to where we needed. There were cut down branches and limbs that had not been picked up also. We were just disappointed in the overall condition of the campsites. We are usually very pleased when we camp there but it was just unfortunate.

All was good except for the trash dumpsters. They remained full the entire time we were camping.
They were overflowing with trash.

The grass seemed to not have mowed in over a month, it was almost knee high in some places making it hard to walk your dogs. Trash was overflowing in the dumpsters and had been that way for over 10 days. Kids being allowed to fly though the parks on electric scooters almost hitting people as they tried to walk on the narrow road ways. The railroad ties that outline each camp site is rotted and dangerous. There are metal stakes sticking out of the ground where some of the ties are all rotted away. We love our parks and love camping. But why are our parks being neglected.

The grass is extremely high and the dumpsters were overflowing. The park has gone downhill since last year.
