Pettit Bay is a popular campground known for its friendly staff, clean sites, and great amenities like the nearby marina and dining options. Many visitors enjoy the beautiful views, ample shade, and family-friendly atmosphere, making it a favorite spot for camping. However, there are concerns regarding maintenance, particularly with overgrown grass, restroom facilities, and the overall upkeep of some areas.

Weather was perfect. People were friendly. Birds as an alarm clock in the mornings. Boating, fishing and fire pit at night. Meeting family.

Pettit Bay is our favorite place to camp on Lake Tenkiller. The marina is on site as well as Dock Side Pizza, Piddles Restaurant and just a few miles from the Barn convenient store. The camp host, Tammy, is the Best!

This place was excellent. This time of year it was so nice to tent camp with the weather. The water was nice too and lots of trees. Marina was nice. They make a killer pizza !

Our location was good. It had plenty of shade and we were near the bathtooms and playground. The bathrooms are in serious need of repairs and the campgrounds needed to be mowed and sprayed for mosquitoes. Even with bugs spray, a thermacell, and several citronella candles burning, we got bit numerous times.

We had a great time!! But, I have to say the restrooms need a lot of attention. We do not have to rely on them, but if you do, Pettit Bay II restrooms are very disappointing. Pettit I restrooms are night and day different! I have to wonder why???
