Great park and the nicest staff!! Besides the courtesy dock, bathrooms and the children’s play areas requiring much needed attention for repairs, the grounds were well kept.

So the site was almost perfect. We had a level spot for our camper, a great working grill, and it was very clean and the views were spectacular. The only thing I would complain about was there was active ant colonies all over and around the pad. I was stung six times by fire ants that I didn't see on my feet when we were sitting outside on the pad looking at the stars the first night. It would be great if you guys could somehow spray for ants, at least around the perimeter. We've never really experienced this issue before. Next time I'll bring something with us for prevention.
It didn't ruin our trip. The views and friends and fun made up for it. Thank you!

  • Campsites must be occupied at least once every 24 hours; abandoned property may be impounded after that time.

Cancellation policy

  • Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
  • Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
    • Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
  • Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
  • Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
  • Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

  • Dispose of grey water and sewage only in designated dump stations; no ground disposal allowed.

Pets

  • Keep pets leashed or penned; they cannot access swim beaches or bathrooms.

Fires & fuel

  • Purchase firewood locally and burn it on-site to protect forests.
  • Fires must stay within designated fire rings or grills; do not use them for trash.

  • Group shelters are available for day use only.

Site capacity

  • Maximum of 3 tents or 1 wheeled camper and 2 tents allowed per camp pad.

Safety & rules

  • Fireworks are not allowed on the premises.
  • Limit of 14 consecutive days of camping within any 30-day period for each camping party and unit.
  • Maintain cleanliness by keeping sites free of trash and removing personal equipment; dispose of trash in dumpsters.
