The Equestrian Camp was perfect for our friends and us to have a wonderful camping experience with our horses and mules. The trails are well marked and maintained. The scenery is beautiful. Will definitely be back!

We truly enjoyed the time we got to spend at the lake. It was very relaxing, and we enjoyed the time we got to spend with our family.

Monday through Friday is a good time to visit. More sites to choose. The hosts at Sandy Beach area (Ben/Thyra) are nice, friendly, and very helpful at all times. The restrooms are very close and clean. The swimming area is also great for kids. And there is plenty of shore for fishing. There’s a fishing dock with lights and it is fenced in for the little ones for there safety. A place for the whole family to enjoy.

Located in the Ouachita National Forest, this destination is worth it!! This has a large campground with many loops so alot of different nature terrain to choose from! There is water sports and swimming down at the lake. Each campsite comes with a grill, firepit, picnic table, two light/tarp poles and a tent pad if chosen. Very well maintained and beautiful campground! Located near Heavener Oklahoma, and Mena, Arkansas there is plenty of beauty in this area! If you go in July make sure you bring a misting fan and choose a spot with some shade so you can take a break from the sun! Overall great experience.
